Gardens are glorious! They invigorate and inspire us, provide peace and tranquillity and should always be enjoyed – never a burden.

Having a blank canvas to design from is very exciting but re-designing gardens that no longer work for you, or perhaps it’s a garden you’ve inherited, is equally challenging and rewarding. The key is to create a garden space that is right for you. One that enhances both your way of life and your scope for looking after it.

So taking the time to listen to my clients and forging a strong relationship between us, is paramount to understanding the style of garden that will be perfect for you . And then of course, there is the construction of the garden; building beautiful stone walls, elegant pergolas, winding paths with perfect curves, preparing new borders filled with the best soil and so much more. This is where the other important relationship comes in, that of Designer and Landscaper.

With this in mind, landscaper Alan Horley and I have designed and built over 70 gardens together from small, town gardens and courtyards, to large rural and coastal gardens, all planned and constructed with the greatest care and expertise.
